Facial Rejuvenation
There are two means of reducing wrinkles – one is by relaxing the muscle a little and this is carried out by a material such as botox. This is completely reversible, although if one starts using botox before the wrinkle really deepens one may prevent static wrinkles from actually forming at all which is a real bonus! This method works best for wrinkles around the eyes, bridge of nose and frown lines. The other method of reducing wrinkles, namely the naso-labial folds (wrinkles that run from edge of ones nose to corner
of ones mouth) and marionette lines (from corner of ones mouth to ones chin) are best reduced by using dermal filler. We use the best products – Juvederm, beloteroto to name a few.
Some patients may find the administration of dermal filler a little uncomfortable and for such patients we use local anaesthetic so that the entire procedure is painless.

Do I need to take a day off work?
No – the appointment is usually no longer than 30 minutes and there is rarely bruising or pain following treatment.
Who needs this treatment?
Anyone over the age of 30! Some patients attend because they do not want their wrinkles
to get any worse. Some attend saying ‘I look cross all the time, but I am not – I am actually
quite a happy person, but my wrinkles make me look miserable!’
What kind of a result can I expect?
Botox takes about 7-10 days to take effect but the results of dermal filler are visible
instantly. The results of botox will last for 3-4 months and the results of dermal filler will
last from 6-9 months. We really emphasise that we believe in a natural result. We want
your friends and family to think you look very well but we don’t want them to know why!
Discretion and confidentiality
Confidentiality is assumed at a dental clinic and a breach of this on our part would be a
serious breach of conduct. You can rest assured that your appointment will be handled with
the utmost of discretion.
If spotted in the waiting room by someone you know, they will just
assume you have a routine dental appointment! We have a private exit following treatment if
so wished.
